In 2019 Muskeg Lake Cree Nation celebrated the 30th anniversary of the first-ever urban reserve within the city limits of a Canadian city. In partnership with the city of Saskatoon, Muskeg Lake developed a celebration event with a ground-breaking ceremony at the new Saskatchewan Indigenous Gaming Authority head office, a gala event and an informational session at the University of Saskatchewan. National Brand helped develop a logo, invitations, posters and a series of 3 informational videos within tight deadlines and budget.
MLCN-IMC is in the early stages of launching a new coffee brand Wanska Coffee within it’s Cree-Way Gas locations. The word ‘Wanska’ means ‘get up, or rise up’ in Cree. The graphics and packaging National Brand developed with them were designed carefully to look the part of a major coffee brand but still representing it’s indigenous roots.
National Brand is now partnered with MLCN-IMC and helps to develop solid communications strategies and professional presentation materials.
